Description

The objective of this technique is to show how to tag a single list spanning two or more pages.

These minimal examples are designed to express a single Technique. Effective use requires software that supports Tagged PDF.

Expected Results

Checks #⁠1 to #⁠6 are true. 

Procedures

  1. Check that all fundamental techniques are followed.
  2. Check that all real content that the author intends as a list is tagged as a list.
  3. Check that list tags are not used when the author does not intend a list.
  4. Check that the substructures of all L tags are semantically appropriate (LI, Lbl, LBody). 
  5. Check that the ListNumbering attribute on all L tags in ordered lists is correctly set to "Decimal", "UpperRoman", "LowerRoman", "UpperAlpha" or "LowerAlpha".
  6. Check that a single list that has been physically separated, i.e. multiple pages or columns, is tagged in a single L tag.
