Michael Horsley

Michael Horsley is a Senior Electronic Records Management and Policy Analyst in the Office of the Chief Records Officer, US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) where he is responsible for digitization and other records management policy. Horsley is one of the technical authors of NARA’s digitization regulations, and is a technical editor for FADGI’s 2023 Technical Guidelines. Horsley serves as NARA’s representative to FADGI, he is a member of ISO TC 171, TC 46 and TC 42 JWG 26. He has more than 30 years experience in cultural heritage digitization at the Smithsonian Institution, Library of Congress, and the US National Archives.
