Rich Media TWG

The Rich Media Technical Working Group (TWG) provides PDF Association members with a forum for the development of guidance and best practice on the use of PDF 2.0 RichMedia annotations.

Specific areas in which we plan to invest:

Embedding 3D models in PDF/A-4 documents
Examining the audio and video capabilities of RichMedia annotations
Guidance on configuration and use, including ECMAScript
Describing and documenting implicit assumptions
Research and develop new proposals related to animation and other future rich media capabilities for the next generation of PDF (an outcome from the Symposium on Advancing the PDF Imaging Model)
