Demand for accessible documents has increased with recent legal activity aimed at ADA Section 508 and other accessibility requirements.  Crawford Technologies experts, Dennis and Aimee will discuss accessible documents for the blind and partially sighted and how you, as a print and mail operation, can integrate alternate format documents into your multi-channel workflow while meeting regulatory requirements.

We’ll discuss current and upcoming legislation and how to take your print description language (PDL) and transform them into an accessible format in your print workflow.  We will further discuss how your documents can be converted into Accessible PDF, meet PDF/UA and WCAG 2.0 standards for multi-channel distribution, what are the key alternate formats and how to deal with archived based documents to meet the accessible requirements.  Finally, we’ll review legislation driving the push for organizations to implement and what strategies companies are employing to meet their requirements to deliver alternate format output.
