Description

This session shows how to take control with one strategy for both historic and in-production documents, transforming them into PDF/UA-compliant files at scale.

Most high-volume document workflows were originally designed to prioritize print production speed and fast turnaround times. Accessibility was not part of the equation. As a result, every billing cycle produces more documents that are not accessible or legally compliant (ie PDF/UA). At the same time, legacy archives continue to grow, filled with historical content that also fails to meet current accessibility requirements. The backlog continues to grow and organizations are left wondering where to begin.

This session presents a unified strategy for converting both archived documents and current output into fully PDF/UA compliant files. Attendees will learn how to implement consistent quality control and accessibility practices across both legacy and in-production content. Learn strategies for scalable remediation processes that reduces operational complexity and ensures long-term compliance.
