Limited Full membership for larger companies in which only a small number of developers and / or other experts work on PDF technology.

The PDF Association staff delivers a vendor-neutral platform in service of PDF’s stakeholders.


Many large organizations have major investments in PDF technology…
- • ...as a feature within their software solutions (e.g., document management solutions, signature solutions, etc.)
- ...for mission-critical PDF creation (e.g., banks, insurance companies, government agencies)
- ...for line-of-business workflows that use PDF (e.g., printers, law firms, EHR, publishers)
For such companies, Division is a limited Full membership in which typically only a small number of developers and / or other experts work on PDF technology.
Division membership description
In September 2024 the Board of Directors approved the “Division” membership class which differs from Full membership as follows:
- A maximum of 5 user accounts on pdfa.org
- All users must be from a single business unit within their organization
- Use of members-only content is restricted to the users’ business unit
- Users can co-chair Working Groups
- Can post informative educational articles, but not products or member news
Division membership in 2025 is 3750 EUR, a substantial savings from the Full member rate for companies with >100 or more worldwide employees.
