Starting In 2025, the three most significant ISO standardized subsets of PDF – PDF/A, PDF/X, and PDF/UA – are now managed by a single ISO subcommittee: ISO TC 171 SC to ensure harmonized technical wording and improve communication and synchronization between all working groups. The PDF Association administers the secretariat for ISO TC 171 SC 2 on behalf of ANSI.
