The Big Faceless PDF Viewer from BFO is a lightweight, Java-based Swing component that enables full-featured viewing of PDF documents without needing the full PDF API. It supports text search and selection, saving, printing, forms, annotations, redaction, bookmarks, thumbnails, and even digital signatures — all configurable so you only include exactly the features you need.
Designed for flexibility, the Viewer can be deployed as a standalone application, embedded in Swing apps, run via Java Web Start, or served as an applet. It also supports JavaScript integration, multi-language localization, and works on any platform running Java 1.5 or later.
