Visualizing vs. Communication: Enabling the Model-Based Enterprise with 3D PDF

The term “visualization” has been typically used to describe the process of taking the design of a product, a building, or a plant, and “sending” that downstream for others to use in their job role. What we’ve learned is that an iterative or dynamic “picture”  isn’t enough to communicate all of the information needed for most, if not all, job roles. This paper explains how 3D PDF enables the Model Based Enterprise by providing a means to communicate all of the information needed.
