This plug-in collection for Adobe Acrobat was developed to automate the creation of hyperlinks and bookmarks. These can be references to other pages, documents, footnotes or URLs. The current version offers additional features such as the colouring of text to visually identify hyperlinks or a new glossary function to explain terms. Hyperlinks are a very strong feature for interactive or accessible PDF and Auto-Link creates thousands of this elements with one click.
File-Linker
The file linker automatically creates hyperlinks to other files. These can be either file openers (PDF) or web links (HTML or PDF). In addition, Auto-Link can be used to set which part of the link found should be used.
Text-Linker
The Index links module is responsible for the automatic creation of internal hyperlinks. This can be used to create the table of contents, an index or cross-references.
Auto-Bookmarks
Bookmarks are an essential element for navigation within an extensive document. With the help of the new function, bookmarks can be generated automatically in any number based on typographical characteristics.
Footnote-Linker
The function recognises the superscript characters as well as the footnotes or endnotes and creates hyperlinks in both directions.
