Steve Simmons

Steve Simmons leads the data architecture and standards efforts within Boeing Global Services’ Digital Services organization. He serves as a Senior Data/Systems Analyst supporting Maintenance Engineering and Flight Operations, technical publications, and multimedia across Boeing Global Services, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and Boeing Defense, Space & Security. With continuous Boeing experience since 1998, Steve defines and implements enterprise technical-data formats and publishing best practices, provides subject-matter expertise for PDF and XML workflows and PDF engineering resolutions, and architects data-ingestion solutions that enable interoperability across aerospace OEMs, airlines, government agencies, militaries, and supplier ecosystems.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Azusa Pacific University and a Master of Science in Technical Management from Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University; he was named a Boeing Designated Expert for PDF Consulting in 2024.
