callas software, a leading provider of PDF automation technology for print and document workflows, correction and archiving of PDF files, will be exhibiting at PRINTING United Expo 2026. Visitors to the major global trade show for the printing, graphics, and packaging industries will have the opportunity to discover how callas technology helps identify and correct PDF issues before they reach production. For this, callas software puts its flagship product line, pdfToolbox, at the center of its show presence. Additionally, callas software will present its new nesting module for the first time in North America which is designed for OEM partners building automated print and production workflows.
The PRINTING United Expo 2026 will take place from September 23 to 25 September at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Visitors can find callas software at booth C934 in the North Hall & Central Hall – Level 1, which represents the Open Software Initiative by Durst Group.
“We are delighted to be exhibiting at PRINTING United Expo 2026,” says Dietrich von Seggern, Managing Director of callas software. “The event offers us an excellent opportunity to connect with customers, partners, and prospective clients from North America, which is a key growth market for us. Visitors who are coming to our booth will see how pdfToolbox and our other solutions work together in practical workflows.”
pdfToolbox handles poorly created PDF files that fail in production environments and resolves many issues early on to prevent costly mistakes. The latest version 17 focuses on improving automation, usability, and performance in production environments while adding tools that help customers solve increasingly diverse workflow requirements. “Automated print production depends on reliable PDF workflows – but production files often arrive with issues that can slow down or stop the next step in the process”, explains David van Driessche, Chief Evangelist at callas software. “At PRINTING United Expo 2026, we will demonstrate how callas technology helps identify and correct PDF problems before they reach production.”
OEM Business
Manufacturers of workflow software, web-to-print platforms, automation tools, and production systems for the printing industry who wish to integrate powerful PDF technologies into their solutions should plan to visit the callas software booth. They can discover how callas can help them add automated PDF validation, correction, and processing capabilities to their own solutions. “Our technology can be seamlessly embedded into existing applications via simple command-line interfaces, REST APIs, a software development kit, or hot folders”, explains Jeremy Spencer, OEM Director at callas software. “At PRINTING United Expo 2026, we will showcase our new developments that are specifically designed for the OEM market.”
One such development is the pdfNest OEM module, which enables software developers and workflow vendors to calculate optimized nesting layouts for multiple PDF files on a given sheet size – improving material efficiency and production throughput. The nesting module is designed to easily integrate into the systems that callas OEM partners build. It is the perfect complement to pdfToolbox. While pdfToolbox focuses on enabling automation and efficiency gains for automated file intake and correction, pdfNest focuses on increasing output sheet efficiency.

She looks forward to meeting customers, channel partners, and OEMs throughout North America at PRINTING United Expo 2026. Natacha De Kegel says: “The presence of callas at this event is a good opportunity to strengthen our collaboration with partners and to learn more about the specific needs of customers in North America.”
