Berlin. callas software, a leading provider of PDF automation technology for print and document workflows, correction and archiving of PDF files, will be exhibiting at INKISH.FLOW. At booth 4, visitors can learn how PDF validation, correction, and processing can be automated. For this purpose, callas software demonstrates the latest capabilities of its flagship product pdfToolbox. OEM partners can also see how they can seamlessly integrate callas technologies to add powerful PDF processing capabilities to their solutions. The INKISH.FLOW will take place for the first time from November 3 to 5 at the PROBO PRINT GmbH in Bad Hersfeld, Germany.
"Automation in print is not about replacing expertise – it is about giving experts more time to focus on the work that matters. That’s what makes INKISH.FLOW such an interesting new event: it is dedicated entirely to software, automation, and robotics in the printing industry," says David van Driessche, Chief Evangelist at callas software. "We will be happy to demonstrate the latest features of our products and explain how they can be integrated to add powerful PDF processing capabilities. Furthermore, we are looking forward to engaging with visitors and discussing their challenging business cases."
pdfToolbox handles poorly created PDF files that fail in production environments. It identifies problematic PDFs to prevent costly mistakes and corrects many of these issues, allowing most files to be processed automatically, freeing attention for the most complex jobs. It runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and can be integrated through hot folders, Switch, scripted environments, or as a library. It also operates in modern deployment environments, including containerized and auto-scaling architectures.
OEM Business
Developers of workflow software, production systems, Web2Print solutions, or other print applications can discover how to seamlessly embed callas technologies into their existing applications. callas offers various options to achieve this, such as simple command-line interfaces, REST APIs, a software development kit, or hot folders. Visitors to INKISH.FLOW can discuss with the experts from callas which option is best suited to their preferences. Additionally they can also explore the pdfNest OEM module, which enables software developers and workflow vendors to calculate optimised nesting layouts for multiple PDF files on a given sheet size, thereby improving material efficiency and production throughput. It is the perfect complement to pdfToolbox. While pdfToolbox enables automation and efficiency gains for automated file intake and correction, pdfNest increases output sheet efficiency.
callas software was founded in 1995 and has focused on making PDF files usable in production environments from the start. While PDF was designed as a flexible and open format, using it reliably in production – where standardization matters – often proves challenging. callas develops technology to identify PDF files…
