ISO TC 171 SC 2 “PDF Week”

In December, 2018 the ISO committees for PDF, PDF/A and PDF/UA will gather in Edinburgh, Scotland for four days of meetings to advance each of these standards.

The following committees will meet:

ISO 32000 / PDF (WG 8)

Work: Continued review of errata items and consideration of new feature-requests; prepare draft “dated revision” of ISO 32000-2.

ISO 14289 / PDF/UA (WG 9)

Work: Continued development of the specification, addressing in particular those areas in which subject-matter expertise was requested.

ISO 19005 / PDF/A (WG 5)

Work: Continue development of PDF/A-4. Possibly, send the draft to a DIS ballot.

“PDF/R” (PDF/raster) (WG 8)

Work: Comments against this document, currently in ISO’s FastTrack process, will be reviewed following its DIS ballot.

Attending the meetings

The meetings will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland. Teleconference access will also be provided.

PDF Association members who wish to attend should contact the PDF Association’s Liaison Officer, Dietrich von Seggern, directly for accreditation via the PDF Association’s liaison with ISO TC 171 SC 2.
