Artifex Software is pleased to announce the release of Ghostscript 10.0.0
Lisa oversees all marketing initiatives for Artifex including brand, content, inbound and outbound, product, communications, and public relations. We are pleased to announce the release of Ghostscript 10.0.0. The critical change to note is that the old PDF interpreter, written in PostScript, is now fully deprecated, and we will make no further changes to it. Please note it will be completely removed in the next major release, version 10.01.0.
Highlights for this Release
Since the original release of the new PDF interpreter, we have spent a great deal of time optimizing the code. As a result, we have significantly improved speed and memory usage in both common and edge cases.

Ghostscript Documentation has Moved
