In Germany, the ability to receive and process XML or ZUGFeRD invoices will be mandatory for companies from 01.01.2025. The ability to send e-invoices will become mandatory in the years to follow.
As a first step, the PDF Association has provided a free XML Invoice Viewer. Our members can provide support for all matters relating to workflows with invoice documents. Following you can find a list of related products from our members.
While the switch to mandatory e-invoicing initially only affects the receipt of such invoices, it is also a good opportunity to lay the foundations for comprehensive workflow management of all documents.
