Our work focuses on:
• Reference resilience (persistent identifiers, integrity verification, fallback mechanisms)
• Structured data binding within PDF documents using ISO 32000-2–compliant extension models
• Provenance transparency and trust-layer metadata
We actively develop open-source reference implementations and conformance tooling to support practical experimentation before formal standardisation decisions.
Our approach emphasises:
• Full backward compatibility
• Alignment with existing PDF technologies (Tagged PDF, XMP, Associated Files)
• Implementation-first validation through test suites and validators
We aim to contribute constructively to the evolution of PDF as a durable and interoperable document format in regulatory, financial, and scientific contexts.
