Membership for PDF producers and consumers
The PDF Association announces a new membership type designed for organizations that produce or consume PDF files at-scale.Many large organizations have major investments in PDF technology…
- ...for mission-critical PDF creation (e.g., banks, insurance companies, government agencies)
- ...for line-of-business workflows that use PDF (e.g., printers, document management systems)
- ...as a feature within their – often unrelated – application development (e.g., generating reports, medical software solutions)
The PDF Association was originally designed to meet the needs of PDF software developers and vendors. Besides our Liaison Working Groups, until recently, we did not provide entry-points for commercial organizations that use PDF a great deal, but aren’t PDF technology developers.
Today we’re announcing a new membership type designed expressly for organizations that produce or consume PDF files at-scale.
Division membership
In September of this year the PDF Association’s Board of Directors approved the “Division” membership class. This new type is limited to organizations that do not develop or sell commercial products that include PDF technology. It differs from Full membership as follows:
- A maximum of 5 user accounts on pdfa.org
- All users must be from a single business unit within their organization
- Use of members-only content is restricted to the users’ business unit
- Users can co-chair Working Groups
- Can post informative educational articles, but not products or member news
Division membership in 2025 is 3750 EUR, a substantial savings from the regular Full member rate for companies with >100 or more worldwide employees.
