PDFix Make Accessible Is Now Live in Enfocus Switch

PDFix has launched Make Accessible – a free app in the Enfocus Switch App Store that brings automated PDF/UA remediation directly into Switch workflows. No separate tool. A PDF comes in, gets tagged and fixed, and routes out as a PDF/UA-ready file – entirely within your existing flow.

In practice, it:

• Tags structure, reading order, metadata, language, title, and bookmarks on every incoming PDF
• Supports layout templates for consistent tagging across recurring document types
• Processes encrypted PDFs when a password is configured
• Outputs a JSON report on every job – nothing disappears silently
• Routes unfixable documents to the Error connection with a report attached

For Switch users looking to make PDF/UA compliance an automated pipeline step rather than a separate project, this is the shortest path there.

The app bundles pdfix-cli 9.1.0 directly – no separate PDFix installation required. It runs on Switch 25.11 or higher, supports Windows and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), and is free to install from the Enfocus App Store. A PDFix SDK license is required to run it in a live flow.
