Since 2008 I am active in the area of accessible PDF and access to content in form of "easy to read". In addition to a degree in computer science, I also have a pedagogical education and many years of practical experience in both areas. Access to information for as many people as possible is my professional and my personal concern.
barrierefrei PDF OG supports organisations in producing accessible communication across the document lifecycle: we create accessible documents from InDesign, Word and PowerPoint, remediate existing PDFs, and help teams establish sustainable accessibility processes and quality standards. A key part of our work is training - especially for graphic designers and content creators in ministries, large organisations and small businesses - so accessibility becomes a practical, embedded capability rather than a one-off project step.
