Since the company's founding in 1991, I have been the Technical Director at Mapsoft, having previously worked as a Software Developer at Federal Express (FedEX). I've worked with the PDF file format since its inception, creating the first PDF export feature when Acrobat version 1 was still in beta for Aldus PageMaker 5 and the PDF Export for Adobe PageMaker 6 and 6.5. My company, Mapsoft, has been an OEM licensee of the PDF Library for two decades, and I have extensive experience integrating this and the nearly code-compatible Acrobat SDK into our own products and for our customers. My company has a number of plug-ins that we sell that work with Adobe Acrobat and our Engage Technologies aimed at the VDP and WebToPrint communities that incorporate the Adobe PDF Library.
