Description
The aerospace industry has strict requirements for the submission of digital documents. For example, the qualified electronic signature is mandatory for construction documents of aircraft components. The digital signature should make the sender clearly identifiable and ensure that the document has not been changed since its signature.
We show a way how PDF documents generated automatically in SAP, which are required for the B2B process, can be signed by employees in a qualified manner before being sent. For this purpose, the necessary user profile data must be obtained from the SAP system in order to achieve a unique identification and authentication via the link between the sender workstation and the user, which makes the required declaration of intent possible.
The overall process is demonstrated using a typically purchasing process in SAP with qualified signing of additional documents.
