PDF Architect is a a Windows-based PDF editor built for business use, covering the full document lifecycle from creation and editing to conversion, review, security, and eSigning. It is designed to integrate directly into existing Microsoft Office workflows.
Editing and document workflows
PDF Architect supports full text editing, page management, and file conversion between PDF and formats including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Optical character recognition (OCR) converts scanned documents into searchable, editable text, and reviewers can add comments and markup directly on the page. Fillable forms, document security tools, and built-in eSignature capability at no extra cost round out the core editing feature set.
Built for teams and administrators
Business and Professional editions add eSignature capability, with the Business edition supporting unlimited signatures per year for high-volume signing workflows. An Admin Portal gives IT administrators centralized control over licensing and user management across an organization, and direct integration with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook keeps editing inside familiar applications. A free edition covers core viewing and PDF creation at no cost.
