PDFCreator
Produced by Avanquest Software
PDFCreator converts documents to PDF from any Windows application by installing as a virtual printer. Printing to the PDFCreator printer produces various PDF standards, JPG, PNG, TIFF, or TXT files instead of a paper page, and the free edition is available for personal use.
Automating document conversion
PDFCreator automatically applies a chosen set of actions whenever a document is created. These can include adding watermarks, encrypting with 128-bit AES, digitally signing, and sending files by email. Pages from multiple source files can also automatically be combined and reordered into a single PDF.
From individual use to server deployment
Business editions give PDFCreator centralized configuration and license management. PDFCreator Server processes conversion jobs via a shared network printer, and PDFCreator Terminal Server supports multi-user Remote Desktop and Citrix environments, making the same conversion and automation workflow available across an entire organization. Regardless of the edition, the underlying conversion engine stays the same and creates consistent, predictable PDF outputs.
