PDFCreator converts documents to PDF from any Windows application by installing as a virtual printer. Printing to the PDFCreator printer produces various PDF standards, JPG, PNG, TIFF, or TXT files instead of a paper page, and the free edition is available for personal use.
Automating document conversion
PDFCreator automatically applies a chosen set of actions whenever a document is created. These can include adding watermarks, encrypting with 128-bit AES, digitally signing, and sending files by email. Pages from multiple source files can also automatically be combined and reordered into a single PDF.
From individual use to server deployment
Business editions give PDFCreator centralized configuration and license management. PDFCreator Server processes conversion jobs via a shared network printer, and PDFCreator Terminal Server supports multi-user Remote Desktop and Citrix environments, making the same conversion and automation workflow available across an entire organization.
