The PDF Association’s Working Groups
The PDF Association staff delivers a vendor-neutral platform in service of PDF’s stakeholders.
The industry’s technical work takes place in the PDF Association’s 11 Technical Working Groups (TWG), 8 Liaison Working Groups (LWG) and 2 Marketing Working Groups (MWG). These WGs are volunteer-led by 17 industry experts in various capacities. Altogether, these working groups account for approximately 300 hours of meetings a year! Any PDF Association Individual, Division, Full and Partner member can join any group. Liaison members can join Liaison Working Groups.
PDF Association WGs cover many aspects of PDF including accessibility, archives, engineering, digital signature, forensics, and much more. This PDF Days session allows you to hear a quick update directly from the volunteer working-group chairs about what each group has accomplished and their plans for the future. New members are always welcome to join the conversation, ask questions, propose new initiatives, and take on projects!
Join us at PDF Days Europe 2025 and get a quick overview of the work in PDF’s communities. The TWG and LWG chairs will use a session to (very briefly!) share their group’s accomplishments and plans for the future. The session will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 16:15 CET.
