veraPDF 0.16: full support for all parts and conformance levels of PDF/A

The veraPDF conformance checker for PDF/A at version 0.16. This latest version is the first to provide support for all parts and conformance levels of PDF/A.
Feature updates in the conformance checker include:
- validation of requirements for digital signatures

extraction of color space information from JPEG 2000 images

validation of the permissions dictionary

corrected implementation of CIDSystemInfo entry requirements (PDF/A-2B)

command line support for plugin execution to extend feature extraction
veraPDF characterization plugins

The veraPDF test corpus gained an additional 112 atomic test files covering PDF/A-2 and PDF/A-3 requirements.

A demo of the REST interface is available at http://demo.verapdf.org. This server has now been updated with 0.16, and therefore supports all parts and conformance levels of PDF/A.
