Metafor LLC is a digital forensic firm based in New York City. We resolve questions involving electronic evidence. Particular areas of focus are determining whether electronic documents, emails, and text messages have been forged, backdated, or otherwise altered; and timelining activity on computers, smartphones, networks, and cloud platforms. Metafor is led by Michael F. McGowan, who has been at the forefront of applying digital forensics, statistical analysis, and investigative skills to clarify issues involving electronic data for over 20 years.
