veraPDF 0.8 includes several updated features and a variety of bug-fixes.

The veraPDF consortium has announced the 0.8 release of the veraPDF PDF/A validation software and test-suite.
This beta release features a command line interface for validation and feature extraction, with supporting install scripts.

Most significant bug fixes
- Comparison of Info dictionary and XMP metadata (PDF/A-1);
- Support for missing resources and resource inheritance mechanism (PDF/A-1); and
- Parsing TrueType fonts with zero-length tables.
