axaio releases a new version of MadeToTag, the tool for the generation of accessible PDF/UA documents from within Adobe InDesign.
axaio is pleased to announce the release of a new version of its tool MadeToTag. The update 3.1.129 contains some improvements and fixes a number of known issues to ensure a smooth working experience with MadeToTag.
MadeToTag is an Adobe InDesign plug-in for preparing and exporting InDesign documents for output as tagged, accessible PDF. Based on the PDF/UA standard, the PDF created with MadeToTag meets the legal requirements for an accessible PDF file.
Selection of improvements and bug fixes:
- Updated the problem locator "Set export tag as prefix…" to also add "BlockQuote/Index/Caption" to prefix
- Fixed a bug where the InDesign keyboard shortcut set was not reset to the correct one after turning off MadeToTag shortcuts
- Fixed an InDesign bug where the font was missing while collecting all data before output
- Fixed an InDesign bug where documents with linked documents cannot be processed correctly due to missing fonts
- Fixed a bug where text looked different after export due to an applied character style
- Fixed a bug where an empty preview dialog was shown (mostly on unsaved documents)
- Fixed a bug where no export could be performed because the export button was not enabled
