The latest release of Adobe PDF Library introduces powerful new features and critical fixes, ensuring an even more robust experience for developers working with PDFs.
What’s New?
- PDDocRemoveAttachment(): A new method added to the C/C++ interface, making it easier to remove attachments from PDFs.
- Version Updates: The NuGet and Maven package versions have been upgraded to 18.46.0, bringing the latest improvements to developers using these platforms.
Key Fixes and Enhancements
- Improved PDF/A-4e Conversion: Fixed issues with U3D annotations and enhanced annotation preservation, preventing widget annotations from being flattened.
- Better Font Handling: Resolved issues with TrueType font subsetting and Type 0 font re-subsetting, which could previously impact text extraction.
- Memory Optimization: Fixed a memory leak in redaction annotations and corrected a WordFinder-related memory corruption issue.
