InkluDocs – New Cloudservice for document Accessibility automated

Actino Software introduces InkluDocs, a web-based platform for automating accessibility tasks in PDF and Word documents.

Developed by blind accessibility expert Steve Weidel, InkluDocs combines first-hand accessibility expertise, AI and proven document technologies to simplify and automate the creation of accessible PDF and Word documents. The web-based platform is designed to reduce repetitive manual work while keeping users in control of the final result.

InkluDocs supports the automatic generation of meaningful alt text and long descriptions for images and graphics, taking both document context and individual instructions into account. It can also create tooltips for PDF form fields, support automated tagging and PDF/UA workflows, and validate documents against relevant accessibility requirements and standards.

An integrated chatbot and customizable prompt management allow users to refine results, define individual rules and address document-specific requirements. Generated content can be reviewed, edited and approved before being applied, making human review an integral part of the workflow.

Rather than relying on AI alone, InkluDocs combines artificial intelligence with specialized PDF technologies and rule-based automation. This makes it suitable for individual documents as well as larger, recurring document workflows.

The platform is continuously evolving, with additional automation capabilities being added over time. The goal is to bring accessibility expertise, AI, automation and validation together in one environment, making accessible document production more efficient, consistent and scalable.
