Verisk partners with the global insurance industry to deliver strategic insights into emerging risks. Our Claims Analytics team is comprised of approximately 60 developers, data scientists, and others who are charged with understanding and building tools to help our insurance industry clients in the US, UK, and Canada detect and prevent fraud in a variety of documents and images. The tools we develop include but are not limited to:
- Duplication of images in claims detection
- Metadata detection and interpretation/exposure
- Detection of pixel manipulation in images
- PDF forensics checks, including version history of incrementally saved files
- Exposure of changes in specific types of mandated insurance documentation in the UK
We also have C2PA work on our roadmap for the coming year.
Clients submit claims documents and images to our repositories then trigger our checks to run across claims. We do not sell software. Instead we sell access to our portal and services to interpret results.
