On Thursday, 6 November — the global digital preservation community will come together to celebrate #WDPD2025 under the theme “Why Preserve?”
For the first time ever, World Digital Preservation Day will coincide with the International Conference on Digital Preservation (iPRES 2025), where the World Digital Preservation Day (WDPD2025) will officially kick off and launch the #WhyPreserve campaign — providing fresh advocacy messages and resources to help champion the importance of preserving our digital assets.
This same week, PDF Association's CTO, Peter Wyatt delivered a tutorial on PDF/A at iPRES 2025. His session was covered here by Andy Potter, who is attending the event.
