In accordance with its ongoing commitment to ISO standards for PDF technology, Adobe, a Partner member of the PDF Association, has renewed its Standards Support Endowment for 2026.
The Standards Support Endowment supplements PDF Association membership dues to support administration of ISO TC 171 and helps to sustain the continuing development of new and updated ISO specifications and standards for PDF technology.
Starting in 2023 Adobe's Endowment, together with sponsorship from Apryse and Foxit, helps to make possible the availability of the latest PDF specification, ISO 32000-2 at no cost.
"Now in its eighth year, Adobe's Standards Support Endowment continues to facilitate the PDF Association's vital work sustaining PDF and related specifications and standards," said Leonard Rosenthol, Adobe’s Senior Principal Architect for PDF and a member of the PDF Association's Board of Directors.
PDF Association CEO Duff Johnson said: "Adobe's endowment helps makes it possible for the PDF Association to continue providing a vendor-neutral platform for PDF's stakeholders to engage in PDF specifications and standards development."
As in 2026, the value of Adobe's Standards Support Endowment in 2025 is $178,800. Any questions about Adobe's Standards Support Endowment should be directed to PDF Association CEO Duff Johnson.
