About PDF Association staff

The PDF Association is pleased to announce the launch of a set of pages under a new “Topics” menu on pdfa.org.

These pages make it easier for users to navigate key subject areas within the PDF ecosystem and to access authoritative, structured information on the technologies and standards that matter most. They also improve exposure for PDF Association members who post informative articles, company news and products on the site.

The revised “Topics” section introduces a more intuitive organization of content, grouping related materials into clearly defined categories. Each topic page serves as a centralized hub, bringing together background information, technical guidance, relevant specifications, and supporting resources. Whether you are working with PDF as a developer, or for the purposes of graphic design, archiving or accessibility, these pages are intended to streamline discovery and reduce the time required to locate reliable information.

This update also reflects ongoing efforts to align pdfa.org with the evolving needs of the global PDF community. By structuring content around topics rather than formats, we aim to better represent real-world use cases and workflows. The result is a more user-centric experience that supports a broader range of roles, including developers, archivists, document managers, and policy makers.

We encourage all visitors to explore the updated “Topics” menu and incorporate these resources into their work. As always, feedback from the community remains essential. These pages will continue to evolve over time, with additional content and refinements planned based on user input and emerging developments in PDF technology.

This enhancement marks an important step toward making pdfa.org a more accessible, informative, and practical resource for anyone working with PDF standards and solutions.
