Rich Media TWG
The Rich Media Technical Working Group (TWG) provides PDF Association members with a forum for the development of guidance and best practice on the use of PDF 2.0 RichMedia annotations.
Specific areas in which we plan to invest:
- Embedding 3D models in PDF/A-4 documents
- Examining the audio and video capabilities of RichMedia annotations
- Guidance on configuration and use, including ECMAScript
- Describing and documenting implicit assumptions
- Research and develop new proposals related to animation and other future rich media capabilities for the next generation of PDF (an outcome from the Symposium on Advancing the PDF Imaging Model)
Participation
PDF Association members can join the Rich Media TWG by logging into pdfa.org, visiting the Member Area and clicking “Manage Communities”.
PDF Association LWGs are open to experts who wish to participate as either Invited or Liaison experts subject to their agreement with the PDF Association’s IPR Policy and Code of Conduct. Contact the community-manager@pdfa.org for more information.
