Prof. Chris Prom
Chair of these communities: EA-PDF LWGChris Prom is Associate Dean for Digital Strategies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he coordinates the University Library’s efforts related to resource discovery, information technology, digital preservation, and user experience. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Illinois, with an emphasis in British social policy and working class movements. Chris is currently the Principal Investigator for two projects relating to email archiving, including Email Archiving: Building Capacity and Community. He recently completed a role as Publications Editor and Chair of the Publications Board for the Society of American Archivists and is also a Fellow of the Society.
