Klaas Posselt

I am Trainer & Consultant at einmanncombo, and earned a degree as an engineer in printing and media technology who and working in the area of accessibility for 20 years.

My main focus is training, assisting and supporting clients as they implement and optimize accessible publication processes. I have many years’ in-depth experience and knowledge of various commonly used programmes, such as e.g. Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office, PDF Accessibility Checker (PAC) . My clients come from a wide range of sectors, such as banking, insurance, public authorities, publishing houses and advertising agencies.

As a Co-Chairman of the PDF Association’s PDF/UA Technical Working Group (TWG), i am involved in the ongoing development and growth of the PDF/UA standard for universally accessible PDF documents.

Specialization

Support for implementing and optimizing accessible publication processes based on several different tools, assistance for PDF/UA generation and testing, answering individual questions regarding accessible pdf files.

Capabilities

I have in depth experience with several desktop applications (e.g. Adobe InDesign, Acrobat. Microsoft Word, PDFix), Add-ons and Plugins (e.g. axaio MadeToTag, axesWord, axesPDF), testing tools (e.g. PDF accessibility Checker [PAC], Adobe Acrobat, veraPDF), deep knowledge in tagged / accessible PDF based on several comments standards and laws (e.g. ISO 14289 aka PDF/UA, WCAG). I can adopt to several other customers technologies and apps quickly and project procedures.

Availability

I am available for hourly work, or project based work. I am open to short term or long term collaborations. I live in Germany and have broad availability, including for working with clients in timezones different from my own.
