PDF Week Fall 2023 San Francisco

As part of our focus on building the ecosystem the home of the worldwide PDF technical community invites its members and delegates to ISO TC 171 SC 2 to PDF Week Fall 2023 in San Francisco!

A special event within this PDF Week is open-to-all Symposium on Advancing PDF's Imaging Model.

PDF Week offers key benefits for PDF developers, technical product managers and other stakeholders:

Attending PDF Week, October 16-20, 2023

Attendees are encouraged to stay at the event hotel to help the PDF Association meet its commitment. A hotel reservation link at a discounted rate will be provided to registered attendees. You must book your hotel by September 21 to get the Omni's discounted room rate.

Remote participation is available for PDF Association members (audio / screen-share only) and ISO delegates.

PDF Week is for PDF Association members, delegates to ISO TC 171 SC 2 and observers. The event consists of members-only PDF Association Technical and Liaison Working Groups and ISO WGs. Tuesday's Symposium on Advancing the PDF Imaging Model is open to members and non-members alike, but remote attendance at the Symposium is limited to members.

October 17: Symposium on Advancing the PDF Imaging Model

The Imaging Model TWG is evaluating possible new imaging technologies and capabilities for future versions of PDF. The Symposium will be dedicated to open and frank discussions under the Chatham House Rule  on some of the various proposals for significant enhancements to PDF's imaging model.

The Symposium is open to everyone! It will bring together experts in file formats, color and codecs, office suite developers, illustrators and graphic designers, web technology experts from various industries. Membership in the PDF Association is NOT required to attend. Non-members must register for the Symposium, but there’s no cost to attend.

PDF Association members and ISO delegates can attend PDF Week at no charge. Non-member observers must purchase a ticket ($500) before registering.
