The (Printable) Page Still Matters
While digital transformation has changed workflows, hard copy remains essential in many contexts for practical, legal, and human reasons, from supporting warehouse workflows to maintaining audit trails in a courtroom. Eliminating paper is a key objective, but the practicalities revolve around how organizations can maintain reliable continuity and provenance between digital source files and printed output (and input).
This is why PDF is indispensable to digital transformation. Far beyond printing, PDF is the stable, verifiable “document of record” that preserves appearance and structure across systems. It serves the hybrid reality of digital and analogue worlds with a single, authoritative object that ensures information is durable, portable, and trustworthy on every screen and (printed) page.
